What is the Parent and Grandparent Super Visa?

This is the new visa for parents and grandparents who want to visit family in Canada for extended periods without having to renew their status.

This visa allows holders to stay in Canada for a maximum period of 5 years.

• It allows multiple entries for a maximum period of 10 years.
• It is normally issued within eight weeks of application.
• Applicants must have health insurance from a Canadian insurer that is valid for at least one year and has a minimum coverage of 100,000$.
